I was in Newcastle 4 3 years, had a top time. Great clubbing, and the 2 student unions are the best i've seen by a long shot. It's cold and wet, of course, and jobs r shit, but good unis & a wicked time.
Oh, the locals r all nuts, but up for a good time....
