You know.. I probably love ARIA just as much as the rest of you.. But I swear some of you must be paid to promote that place…

I’m not bashing a single person.. Just stating a simple fact that I don’t hear much about the other clubs on Montreal. Plus I don’t post on XVI..

And see… some of my assumptions were right about people being paid

my friend who came up here from miami fro tiesto said the same thing. he said aria surpassed his expectations, that it was def better than space and that it's the #1 club in all of n-america!!! wooow! we are the luckiest!!! hehe!
besides -gettin paid for promoting aria?! are u kidding? if i was paid it would mean someone had to drag me there by my ears ... all it takes is a bit of twisting of that rubber arm, but only when i'm in a half comatose state!

I don't know about Aria being the BEST club in North America. It does have this unique underground look which is kind of cool, but IMHO both Guvernment and Viva are better venues. Aria is up there though! When Biggy gets lazers installed there, I'll definitely reconsider my opinion ! BTW, one thing that is better about Aria is the DJ booth. That's one thing that impressed me the most !
the new V6 mixer is not designed for fast cut and effects, it's just a mixer, not an EQ killer or whatever... its most likely used by prog and house djs.
About Aria, i'm glad there's no lazer, it's ridiculous otherwise it would be like any other cheesy club in America

I didn't want to say it, but basically that's about it!

i saw a video clip of Viva (on their website) and the lasers seemed overkill... it was like 200 LPM (lasers per minute) hehehe
and technofreak: i remember you asking why the light show was different that time. Two reasons: the first because they removed the screens from the sides giving an impression of a bigger room and also they can use the side lights which were blocked by the screens. And the light guy was the one on saturdays i think. And they do have different styles
