I saw Jules in October at Godskitchen, and while he wasn't great, he played some nice tracks, got the party jumping, and was having a f**king GREAT time behind the decks.

Of course, he didn't have the look of sheer wonder and bliss that Armin had on his face and nor was his set as good, but he was there to get things moving. He did a great job. Now, I wouldn't pay to see just him headline a party, but I think he'd be fun to see at TT in Sydney. He should do a well setting up for Armin.

In Early days of this forum, maybe it was back in 2001. I was belted here, cuz I had announced he was comin for a gig to Melbourne etc. Since then I've learned to shut-up when the issue is about an alleged Cheeze trance Dj or song.

tall paul is better, with all that white powder on his nose, and the 20 second fades, oh and the track selection, going from a good song, too total commercial cheese.

i think this thread is over.

Judge Jules, Played some pretty nice tracks at GodsKitchen, but his mixing was trash.. I'd love to know what that really hard remix he played of 'Green Velvet - Flash' was... It's also in a few Mauro Picotto set's that I have.

Yes, I've read that interview. From what I gathered, he chose the tracklisting to TN1, and from then on in, had only minimal say on the other CDs. When it got to TN2003, he refused to mix it - and good on him too! Have you seen the tracklisting? I think DJ Sammy ended up mixing it.
