Tunnel trance is all about trance anthems and club trance songs.. if you look at the first few volumes you'll see the names of ayla, Push, Ferry corsten, Armin van buuren, dumonde and even tiesto.
So i dunno what your talking about.. its obviously trance.. yes its a bit fast but hey thats the style that dj dean mixes..
He dares to do fast mixing.. which other djs wouldnt try.. so you will see that the beat matching will be off sometimes since he has limited time to cue up the track.. believe me.. its easier to mix when you wait till the end of each song.. plus when he does this he tends to avoid redundant second build ups, this would also explain why the mixes are under 64 beats.. its because thats the way the tracks are made duh.. your not suppose to overlay synths.. that sounds like crap.. its not like longer transitions make a set better its the way you transition it.. and the way dean does it is practically suited for the type of compilatinon he is creating... I tend to like hearing both buildups to songs.. but in this case.. he gets more tracks per compilation so your always on your toes listening
ITS great in my opinion i can see why others may not like it.. they are probably used to something slower.. and not so upbeat..
