check out some nice west coast tech house like Terry Francis & H-Foundation (Halo & Hipp-e), stuff like Watermelon records would do you fine

if you're looking for you deep house kinda stuff look out for Miguel Migs, Derrick Carter & Daniel Magg. Some of the best house in recent years has come off the Compost label. Mainly known for their jazzy trip hop, Compost have come out with some awesome deep jazz house lately.

LTJ Bukem has created a jazzy house label as an off shoot from his incredibly succesful drum n bass label, Good Looking Records.

There's also the classic guys like Frankie Knuckles & David Moraes

Hey your in luck, my brother's gf was going to a party and she told me they are not into trance music and such and they just want beats(i knew she meant she wanted house) and i don't really have mp3s but i came accross this old CD that i got long ago

Kontor Top Of The Clubs Vol 13 2CD, now i think CD 2 is like pure house and it's really good house IMO i started to like it

she told me it was the perfect CD, so i think you should check it out.
