ok, first of all....LINKIN PARK, NIRVANA, AND WHAT NOT IS NOT ROCK. jesus H. Christ!! Rock is shit like pinkfloyd, led-zeppelin, yes, ozzy fucking osbourn, etc! even radio head godamnit! ...none of this 'rap-core' bullshit. But anyways, you guys can like what you want, but make sure your genre's are not skewed. Anyways, PINK FLOYD, YES, RUSH, LED ZEPPELIN, Steve Miller Band, Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult, King Krimson! JIMMMMY BABY, and more... those are good rock bands.
oh ya! and whoever said 'soilwork' ..mad props, but that goes under the 'death metal' genre..but to add to that: arch enemy, opeth, in flames, arcturus, the forsaken, ATG (AT THE GATES), The Crown, etc etc.
Prog: Dream Theater, Ayreon, transatlantic, liquid tension experiment, the flower kings, etc etc etc.
new shit: Tool, 311, Rage against the machine, EARLY incubus, and umm.... ya another band here and there.
classical: almost anything classical i like, but i have to be in the mood.
country: hate it.
rap: like some, not all.
and uhh..ya the rest is trance.
well....IRON MAIDEN rulz also. enough said.
