im sorry but if you say Hardhouse is "Un-melodic" then you're a fucking moron.
You obviously have no idea what good hardhouse is. Thatss like listend to ATB and saying trance sucks.

It all depends how "hard" you like it as theres several degrees of hardness...
A lot of the mentioned tunes in this thread (and before anyone says anything, i am dispise the term, and will never refer to hard house/trance as "Hard Dance" as thats THE worst description of hard music ever, its like calling something by Ian Van Dahl "Trance" ) are Hard Trance, e.g. everything on TidyTwo.
Also theres varying degrees of hard trance. Youve got your real euphoricy style hard trance (e.g. Guyver, SHOKK, Flutlicht) which isnt realy that hard at all. The semi-hardish grittier stuff (Cosmic Gate, Dumonde, Kai Tracid, Hennes & Cold) and the down right bastard hard hard trance (Uberdruck, some Yoji Biomehanika & Scot Project) but all that are pretty generalised with fluffy euphoric/semi euphoric breakdowns.
Going back to Hard House, youve got your happy dancy stuff (generaly most stuff released on Tidy will fit into this sort of genre) your hard stompy bouncy stuff (the likes of which you find at Sundissential) and your downright filthy Paul Glazby/Karim/Lab 4 style 150/160bpm hard house.
All of which I take great pleasure in destroying my eardrums to
