They are out there, me being one of them. The thing is, women (at least here) don't want a super nice guy, they want someone who acts badass (not necessarliy an asshole but more often than not that's who those types of guys are).

I'm not like that. I've dated people who were not great looking , but sweet to me on lots of occasions. Simply because its what is on the inside, not the outside. And I stand behind that 100%. Too bad I picked the decent looking asshole this time.

Very true. I mean the thing that doesn't apply to me specifically is the superficial bit because I'm told I'm decent looking. Plus it's not even about the looks part because they can be attractive to you but noone else might think so. (and what's wrong with that? Nothing.) Just tell the person up front, that's what I hate. People who aren't upfront or HONEST. Is it really so hard to be honest??
P.S. Don't worry about it too much Ladyluck, you'll find someone out there, just don't even try so hard. (Everyone I know is with their significant other hasn't even tried period to look for them, they just met them somehow).
