uh, hip hop is cool
ambient dub/trip hop/acid jazz(mushroom jazz 3 rocks ;-))
jungle is great stuff, I'm an avid LTJ Bukem worshipper

metallica once in a while, they know how to write some good tracks...

all classical music is brilliant, phillip glass is a good post-modern composer

I think it's best to keep the musical tastes open, or you might never know what you are missing, after all, it's how I discovered trance.
