it's addictive though it's been 5 days since i ordered a record

there there Jon, I know how you feel... maybe we should snip all our credit cards...

central station has the best selection of trance I've seen in a melbourne record store, that's not to say it's a good selection, cos it's hardly a great one. the people there kinda suck... but I ripped off some vinyls from there so it's all good. self-consumed record store ppl piss me off though... I dunno why they think they're so great! wow, you sell cds mate, fuck off mate.

regarding my first vinyls... I had bought vinyls here and there every now and then for ages but my addiction took off around the time I discovered how great online record stores can be. Just before my first online order I grabbed this nice tunes at the local yankie vinyl store:

Simple Minds - Belfast Trance (Promo)
Micro De Govia - Epic Monolith (Promo)
Armin feat. Ray Wilson - Yet Another Day (Riva & Rising Star Mixes)
Lange feat. Skye - Drifting Away (Radikal Records US)
Ayla - Ayla '99 (Positiva)

and the begining of my collection of records ordered online included the likes of:

Gouryella - Tenshi (Tsunami)
Oceanlab - Clear Blue Water (Codeblue)
Delerium - Silence
Delerium - Heaven's Earth
Johan Gielen pres. Abnea - Velvet Moods (Data Records)
Veracocha - Carte Blanche (Positiva)
Aurora feat. Naimee Coleman - Ordinary World (Positiva)

...and many other great uplifting/epic trance tunes. (my collection here)

I'd rather not mention some of the trash I bought initially a long time ago haha

my first vinyl was mirco de govia - epic monolith.
& the people at ideal recs (penrith) were so helpful and friendly. it was a pleasant experience

Those people are freaks. Everytime i go in there i feel like they are watching me cause im too normal or something, and when i ask to hear some prog or trance they like stare me down, while some raver looking drug freak is playing weird ass hardcore rubbish in the corner and there are kids my age sitting on couches doing nothing.

But my first Vinyls

Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (Tiesto Remix)
Push - Trazey State of Mind/The Legacy (S & G Remix)
Balearic Bill - Destination Sunshine (Tiesto Remix)

65+ vinlyls later I'm still going strong. And I havent got a proper job yet, and I havent turned 17 yet

hahahaha!
well when I went there they had only been open for a week, and they needed all the customers they could get! It was really quiet- these guys were just standing around looking bored. I walked in and they looked kind of excited to have a customer, hahah!
They call uplifting trance "fluffy"..but nonetheless there was this one (hot) guy there who likes trance, and he gave me a ton of vinyl to listen to and recommended CDs.
although, I haven't been back since then
