clubs get shut down regurlaly around the world because of drug issues.

speaking of rave act, for example france passed one in 2000 that states that any electronic music gathering shall possibly be called a rave and that the owners of the equipments being used for such events are direcly suable. party in your back yard can get you *shut down* and your equipment seized.

Thanks, I'm flattered. But seriously, we need some politicians that are ravers as well, that would make this world a better one.

wouldn't u feel a bit mad if all the clubs in your state were shut down because of other people's actions?
crying? i probably will since the only "legal" club here in SoCal that won't be affected is the shitty teen center "the ice house"

edit: o god, i hate Ice house.

edit(another thought): This is exactly what the game industry is going through. Because of two boys (the columbine shooters), the video game industry has changed and now laws are being proposed to prohibit sale or rent of certain video games. Because of 2 boys, we all have been punished.

How dare you compare these mass murderers to clubbers that do E at raves. That's just a low blow, you should be ashamed .

just how old are you? I'm curious as to whether you've actually been to a real club. Btw the drugs helped create this scene that you are fighting so ardently for. I think you should eat an eighth of shrooms and open your mind. You seem to be quite the closed minded type. But seriously..... clubbing in san diego?

Blame it on the bloody "rave" stereotype. For God's sake, why do people have to generalise? In the beginning, disco was "gay music", now raves are "drug parties" I mean... last time I watched investigative reports they said that the repetitive music was just an excuse for drug using and that glowsticks are a sign that drugs are being used What next? Let's close pubs because of alcohol abuse; let's ban smoking because of the millions of people who die of cancer...

oh now, wait: the government earns revenues from this

If the law wasn't against drugs, and instead was against people who wear blue, would it be right to blame people who choose to wear blue anyway?

Obviously a law against wearing blue is ludicrous, but under an objective analysis, one would discover the same about drug laws. The question is, then, shall we allow the Government to strip away our liberties whilst offering no justification, and then blame those who refuse to accept this injustice for the consequences? Or shall we blame the Government for its own imprudence?

It seems quite obvious to me. Excellent post DJ PíO.

wow my feelings are hurt

by the way, i am trying to defend myself with remarks, facts, and my own personal opinions. I don't see an intelligent response or argument from you other than trying to be "cool" by somehow thinking you are above me in this society. Go ahead, attack my opinions, but don't attack my character.
