how do you judge it if it 'sounds as complete bs?' what do you mean? the factual information? no, it's actually pretty precise. anyone with rudimentary computer knowledge would be able to find the truth on their own computer for most of what's said.
and the author didn't claim that they're going to install cameras in your showers - he said 'privacy timebomb.' privacy timebomb has a specific meaning. some of the things in there are farfetched, but it's all very astute and poignant.
you wanna hear about timebombs? microsoft. their policies have always been security timebombs. the amount of holes that are rampant in services like IIS cost business billions of dollars every year. that's a timebomb - lack of vigilance to a set of problems in a timely manner which lead to reprehensible events that cost other people money.
and why should you care? well, think about this:
next time you google for 'sweaty midget bestiality snowballing donkey cumshot,' someone will have that information. what they use that information doesn't matter - do you want them to have it at all?
