it seems that all different dj's spin in many different genres.
It is soo hard nowadays to classify 100% correctly. As soon as someone says their opinion, someone else jumps in to correct with their own. Does it really matter, if it is all trance anyways, fucking enjoy it and stop worrying about how more right you are in your classifications than another person...peace

and about "acid air raid". i reckon i already said in another thread why it was a remarkable exception. it was NOT produced for tracid traxx. it's on choci's chewns where it trully belongs and where there is plenty of other productions of george saunders aka solar quest, akin to the legendary acidairraid.

but having said all that, i state that no acid trance track comes close to acid techno sound. that's where real acid madness takes control revealing all the destructive power of the silver box. so i suggest u quit listening to your (tr)acid trance and switch to acid techno instead, the true acid sound

yeah mate, i know what your saying regarding the quility of acid lines etc between the likes of tracid stylee and YOUR sorta acid trance/techno, the point i was arguing was that tracid isnt cheesy, i agree with you one the completely different vibe between my style and yours.

and yeah, theres a massiver difference between 'acid air raid' and pretty much all of the other tracid traxx, and maybe it should have stayed on choci's, but im glad it didnt, cos perhaps i wouldnt have heard of it if that was the case

peace brah

Tech-Trance: Marco V, Lava, Austral, Nick Base

Hardstyle/Harddance/Hardhouse(depends on the producer, sometimes Hardstyle/dance/house doesn't even sound remotely like trance and sometimes it does): Marc La Cruz, Yoji Biomehanika, Warmduscher, Luna, Starsplash, DJ Wag, Deepack, Gaida,Fergy, Pavo,...
Cheese/Club/Pop Trance: PPK, DJ Jean, Bartezz,...
If someone thinks I put the wrong producer in the wrong group. Feel free to correct me, but I find it difficult lately to put a producer/DJ in one specific group as they try their hands on everything lately

that is a LOT better. No invented generes, *cough* DJ Tranz *cough*

One post it is your so call Hard Uplifting Epic and Hard Uplifting Cyber Trance, the other you love your deep up-beat prog trance that you play.

I spin Hard Uplifting Epic and Cyber Trance and Deep Progressive House/Trance and what I play depends on DJs that are before or after me and where and what type of crowd. Plus when I am asked to play, I ask what people would prefer to hear. here is a link to something very similar to what I play as Progressive www.djjeffyen.com click on multimedia and then either DJ Jeff Yen's mix or DJ Wedoe's mix, Wedoe's mix starts with progressive breaks and goes into regular Progressive. Check out www.frequency-8.com(down right now for rebuild) but check out Mystre & Dyloot label www.dancingspiritrecordings.com and you'll see what Cyber Trance is all about....check out Mars CD called Mysteries Within:

u have to understand what sounds cheesy to me is likely to be good to others because i'm very picky when it comes to acid sound. probably way too picky... i just don't like those simple patterns they use on tracid traxx. i like more complex acid lines, more intense ones, more saturated. hell yeah, that's probably what it's called... SATURATED ACID. pete skank's stay in bed forever is a good example of what i like
