hey just for your information, darwins theory of evolution states that we did not evolve from monkeys, we evoled from cro-magnons. they are esentially us. we share a common ancestor with monkeys, but did not directly evolve from them. the common ancestor is still not known today and we might never know what the common ancestor is because it dates so far back. our genes are 99% identical to monkeys, but it doesnt mean we evolved from them, just share a common ancestor. if i could draw you a phylogenetic tree youd understand.
