headed to Glow last night in DC for Johan Gielen with Wally(ekstasis). Left around 7:30 to get there so we could grab a bite before we went in. Got in around 10:30 so we could make the comp list and then chilled upstairs in the vip watching "The Spy who shagged me" lol until about 12. Johan showed up around 12:15 and we had some drinks and chatted it up till about 1 when Johan went on. From 1 on Johan played one of the best (cheese-free) hard trance sets I have heard in awhile. Not hard trance like acosta-cheese, but quality, WELL-MIXED, mostly all new productions or reworks. Johan was jumping around in the booth all night with so much energy. Even his wife was there cheering him on. Wally and I hung in the booth mainly as Johan kept handing me free records and cds, so I wasn't going anywhere  . Plus, for Wally, there was redbull to be drank  Johan played till about 4 am where he closed out with System F - Out of the blue (Epic Remix). The true fans were really the only ones left as Johan was packing up, but the cheers were just as loud as they had been all night. For those that don't know, Johan will be headlining the Dance Valley party at Opium Gardens in Miami on March 20th...
