Seaman is boring hmmm just ask and rest of TA what they thought about him that night, so it will clear your views and btw I will not really consider Seaman as a big progressive DJ. If you wanted to get into progressive just tune into release records radio anytime http://www.protonradio.com/proton.pls

cheers

I don't knwo what to classify Seaman as. I don;t consider it Prog, not trance and not house. I just define it as a mystery style that I immensly enjoy.

well if trance nowdays is called chesee then I'll take it. Btw I think prog. is really boring, I heard Danny Howells set at the Guv, all I heard was kick and bass, and some FX from time to time, it just kinda put me to sleep

Svenson and Gielen might be cheese as producers (even though they are not 100% cheese, just a bit cheesy) but his DJing is now way cheese, at least judging from his sets that I heard.

I'm trying really hard to understand your definition of 'cheese', perhaps you could elaborate on the above and enlighten some of us (ie me).

As someone who spins Trance, and is hardly into progressive... i actually have to agree with Mecha on this one.

To have made that comment, you must be whacked on something! How can you call a track like Suburban Train or Eternity or Touch Me (darkstar remix) cheese?

Johan Gielen is good...but he is a little on the cheesey side....WAY MORE THAN TIESTO OR AVB!!!

Still doesn't answer my question. Define cheese synths, cheese vocals and cheesy melody. Zabud' pro answer the question. Prosto ob'yasni chto ti podrozumevaesh pod slovom 'cheese' - technicheski.

Personally, I'd rather hear cheese which I can dance to, rather than hear progressive non-cheese which I fall asleep to.

Read the Gielen reviews from yesterday. Everybody had an awesome time, even though the tracks the played were mostly what you guys call cheese.

Now try to remember the last time Sasha was here. Did he play any cheese? Probably not. Yet 70% of people hated that set.

There were so many occasions when your progressive DJs came to town, and put to sleep even those who appreciate progressive(John Creamer, Anthony Pappa come to mind)
