MY GOD, simply amazing, met quite a few TA's last night but can't remember most names etc lol. Had a great time up front and even got in a picture All the tracks I recognized have already been posted, what a kickass set. Only bad part were all the fucking 40 year old asian parents there. They were seriously some of the most fucked up people besides the messed up 16 year olds. Not to mention seeing an old asian couple dryhumping by the bar in a dark corner. Yuck.

great party

Hey,

So I got to Viva last night at around 12.30 or so and the place was already quite full. Seems like Johan has a great draw in T.O. now. I think Hartec was great, maybe a bit hard for my taste, but great nonetheless. I think Johan was abosultely amazing!! His track selection was just awesome!! I met Johan for a quick second and seems to be a really nice guy. It's nice to meet the DJ's that actually care about thier fans. I wanted to extend huge thanks to Itikia and Swamper for their great hospitality. They are truly great guys and it's been a pleasure to meet them in the past few weeks. I wish them both success in all their endeavours and know that they have what it takes to bring the great DJ's and parties to Toronto. Thanks again guys, see you tonight at KH.

Cheers

why do people constantly bitch and moan about people doing drugs. if they want to: LET THEM! as long as they aren't picking fights or causing trouble, then who cares! it sure beats the hell out of being in a place with a bunch of 300 lb ginos who are only there to pick fights. i

moral of the story: if people want to do drugs: LET THEM

that's true. I don't necessarily agree with the fact that there are so many cracked out ppl, as I'm sure most of you don't, but the fact is that as long as they aren't doing anything to you directly that's the important thing. You can still have fun at a party by just avoiding these ppl and partying it up with ur own crew (the TA's) who are growing in number at every party there. So come out and support and you'll see the diff

So reconsider your moral, which pretty fucked up. Do whatever kind of shit that you want to do to your body, I don't care. But, when it starts to affect me,ie when I can't dance normally cuz ppl are just STANDING there or are simply BUMPING into me I don't have to take that. Ppl should be more considerate, if your trip causes other ppl to not enjoy their clubbing experience its your responsibility to make sure that it doesn't happen, not mine to "let you" do drugs.

Consideration is what it's all about

Things I loved about last night:

1. Mark Oliver! Have never heard him play such a hard trance set! Thanks to him I'm not sure if my legs will be ready for ultra spin tonight.

2. Tranceaddicts rule! Bottom line... Best group to party with evar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. The way Gielen works the crowd. He's enjoying himself up there and the actually respond at viva. Lots of hands in the air last night!

4. Johan's set. Although missed lots of it (see below). The set was pure quality. Not just so called "cheesy" trance but some real stompers with hard basslines and yes, tech-trance!

5. Hartec. Better to hear hard beats at the end of the night but hearing them at the start sure gets me going. Moved nicely into trance to open for Johan.

6. MC JD. Jungle and trance never worked so well.

Things that were bad last night:

1. Missing half of Gielen. Lets just say that too much booze sucks! Had to sweat it out for a good hour. Got kicked out of my seat for what looked like some Triad meeting that was gonna start.

2. Too Crowded! First time I've seen it that packed. At least most people are polite and they stay still. Unlike the guv that a huge mass of people seem to have the need to roam aimlessly around the club.

3. Too Loud! The volume was cranked last night made my ears bleed. They need to tone it down a decibel or two.

Shouts to absolutely every one. A night at Viva is always a great time!

A really great night, it's true that this time Johan was much better than his first time at Viva, (I am not saying he was bad back then, he was really good) but this time he was just perfect. I'd say better than AVB (or maybe I am just tired of him, who knows), a really great night. Thanx to Orzone for giving me those earplugs, they really make life easier At the end I accidently broke my glowstick and was covered in that shit all over, that kinda sucked, walking around and glowing, grrr, and I heard it's not too healthy too. Btw I was the guy with the Blue glowlight necklase that said guvernment on it, anyone remember me?

conclusion: The best party of 2003 so far, I am gonna check out Guvernment tonight, let's see how that will work.
