Oh, I don't know if any of you guys saw this, but during BT's set around 1:45ish this bouncer and some dude came crashing into the room. The bouncer was manhandeling the guy by his neck and looked like he wanted to fuck him up something feirce. The guy got thrown to the ground (by his neck no less), got back up and started talking shit to the bouncer (what a fucking moron if you ask me lol). The bouncer turned away to walk back to his post or whatever, then decided to fuck the guy up a little more. He grabbed him by the neck again and starting throteling him and pushing him through the crowd.
At Gilen - 40 year old asian couple dry humping in a dark corner.
At Ferry - Man gets thrown to the ground by his neck.
One "holly fuck" moment for each party lol.

K 1:18 and i just got back from curch..
so..night started off well with ninjapimp, infinityhigh and i taken off for the pre meetup. to all those who were pissed off at me, i dont blame u..but i walways show up 45 minutes to an hour late for meetups cos nobody shows up usually till about that time anyway
so...was nice meeting the peeps from michigan ie. djarecebo and crew. was nice finding out all the info about michigan for good old Elmo...but the guy still couldnt get him....was like one of those sad movies when the man and woman split apart for the rest of their life
anyways..so we get in, addy is droppin some dirty fuckin beats...very impressive warm up set i must say. Kudos to Addy if he reads this.
infinity_high and i went to the mainroom for a bit and found the eeasiest way to get abck to the kool haus was by tagging along with the dude transporting BTs fones between rooms
BT starts settin up and when i noticed the apple logo on his laptop, out of a stupid fit of mine i yelled "Macs suck" to which he asked if i was some kind of a promoter of IBM and Bill Gates. ...
so 1 hour later, im goin fuckin bizzerk in front of him to Emerge and he takes notice and yells "AND YOU SAID MAC SUCKS???" with an evil chuckle..
BT tore the crowd up like a dagger...really fuckin brilliant....
Who i was really there to see was Holden and
Staarted off his set with the original mix of Nothing and just went DIIIIIRTYYYYYYYYYYYYY after that..fuckin pounding like a fuckin bomb... too bad he didnt play legacy (even tho he says he had it) nor his returning 93 mix (which was obviously gonna be his conclusoin track) but due to time constraints and since it was MR. Corsten's turn on the decks he couldnt.
the downside of last night were:
1. the dude up front whom i politely told not to blow his fuckin whistle 5 times and a whole load of others following suite.he didnt do so tho. i think it was like a habit...i can excuse him cos when i told him everytime he said he wouldnt but 10 minutes later, there it was *bee*bee*bee*bee*
2. the dude who interupted my talk with holden and just made a fooll of himself..this is how it went:
dude: hey great set man...are u from toronto?
holden brit accent) no no, im from London
dude: oh London, Ontario?
Holden: nono, London UK
last night i just thought how low some people make DJs feel..sorry i just have to went this out....i saw tons of people giving napkins and shit to get signed...how can someone stoop so low and give a napkin to get signed????ur basically showing that even tho u came to see the DJ, u didnt get something worthwile to sign which u can keep treasured.
anyway to end this page long review(longer than answers in my exams), shout out to all the TAs i met last night..was wanting to see 80 of us together..but it all got ruined cos @12, BT was sceduled to come on and thats when the meetup was to be.
SHOUT OUTS:
Charmscars-thanks for the hookup
halo20-thanks for the spot in line
Ninjapimp-thakns for the ride(as usual )
Elmo-on-XTC- wish u couldve gotten in man...was a sad point of the night

Hmmm, where to begin a review of this night. Ahh yes, from the very beginning. The line up was good, allbeit a little slow to begin with (and i say this as someone who came at 10:15). Wouldn't have been much of a factor but it was bitchy weather and i was only wearing UFO's and a light jacket. Got inside and the KH was looking really good, I loved the drapperies (or whatever the name for those white curtains are) with the images projected on them. Made for an interesting scene. Even the crowd looked good when Addy started spinning some mean beats. I don't really know if i have heard Addy before, but this man really impressed me with his progressive house and tribal selections. He really had the crowd geared up for what was to follow. I think by the time BT showed up on the stage most people figured that Addy was going to finish but it took at least another hour of BT milling around, connecting this wire to that, bopping his head to the music, talking to the crowd, encouraging the crowd to get more pumped and giving props to Addy (all with a big smile on his face). Gotta give the man respect, I wasn't on any drugs last night, but just his positive attitude really impressed me. So, at some point Addy finished his set and BT came on and begin with a track that sampled Eminem's vocal 'nobody listens to techno'. I actually enjoyed the track although i have never heard it before and though that BT had great stage presence along with a good selection of tunes. I think set times previously announced on a post must have been wrong because BT seemed to spin for 2 hours, not 1.5, and dropped classics as well as new material, 'dreaming' and 'calling your name' being songs that i think most people recognized instantly.
So after BT, came the king of the Pixies, and what does he choose to drop as his opening...the massively popular "Nothing". I have to say, I enjoyed BT's set, but Holden was simply incredible. The fact that he's only 18 (or 19) showed because he was completely digging the music he was playing which was great to see. The track selection too was incredible, a lot of new stuff which i had not heard as well as old material and his own remixes. ( can't believe he dropped Selways - Move (that track is from Tranceport 2 !!! ). To me, the night had many negative points, most were my own mood ( I don't really think i had my full party mood on, because my piece of shit shoes were bothering me) but there can be no complains about the music. Holden ripped the government complex apart with his beautiful songs. It was a real pleasure to hear him at work (and anyone who thinks he's only a producer and can't mix will agree...He CAN !).
So, now that i've done elaborating the good points a few bads one's. The crowd....Mmmm, yes, too many meat heads, too much silicone, too many people on the floor and very little room to dance. At one point i saw a bouncer choke a guy all the way from the passage way connecting the orange room into the centre of the KH. It was unsettling for a sober person, so i can't imagine what people who were on 'elevated plains of joy' would have thought. I'm sure the guy in question was in the wrong, but to see a bouncer choke a man who didn't seem to be fighting back seemed a bit brutal to me. Anyway, the negative points didn't really outwiegh the good so all in all it was a good night. Sorry I can't comment on Ferry, I took off as soon as i heard Holdens excellent remix of "Fine Day" and saw Ferry on the decks....I'm sure he played the kind of music his fans love, but i just didn't want the night to end on a down for me so i took off. So that's it...another massive party, another excellent debut. Well done Guvernment !
PS. Nearly forgot...Ran into TranceArmada (first person i met on the TA board) and was introduced to both Mecha and Firestarter. It was good meeting both you guys !
