Well this is absolutely fantastic! We now have Mavie from Andain, Dave Dresden himself and rowanlove (close to Josh, Dave, Andain etc.) answering our questions and keeping us up-to-date Now, where on earth would you find that? Only here at TA.com Thank you so much Mavie, Dave and rowanlove for posting here! You truly know how to interact with your fans

To Mavie: the lyrics are pure beauty and the way you sing it is even more beautiful! If I'm, and lots of other TA's, are not mistaken this is one serious contestant for this year's (summer) anthem just like Summer Calling last year, which was also absolutely stunning

The lyrics blow.

Just playing, they really are amazing lyrics, better than Summer Calling, although Summer Calling had that sex appeal. Yeah I was getting hot and heavy to Summer Calling, goddamnit, we all do.

Basically; I love Summer Calling, and keep making music, because we eat it up, and we have voracious appetites for trance!

Oh, by the way, I don't like to mess around with genre's; I'd just call it Electronica.

Great to see you onboard here Mavie (why wouldn't anyone want to read the praises of their fans). Thank you for the lyrics. We have our own feelings about the meaning of the lyrics, can you tell us what you mean by them?

Andain will be at the Conf. I'm assuming with their full album (since it's all done)? I remember hearing a live performance from "Andain" back in June of last year (done at Outdoor Impulz), don't remember the tracklisting but, are those the tracks you are referring to as the finished work?

Mavie -

It's difficult for me to say anything that hasn't already been said. Beautiful Things has effected me in ways hardly any other song has. You have a beautiful voice, have written stunning lyrics, and I absolutly adore the Andain sound.

You deserve all the praise you get. Truly, Thank You.

Welcome to the boards Mavie. It's nice to see you around here Anyway, I'd just like to say that I think you've got a beautiful voice...and you're one of my favorite vocalists in the scene. A couple other favorites of mine are Jan Johnston and Elizabeth Fraser.

Great work on the "Beautiful Things" song, which is a great follow up to "Summer Calling" (one of my top 5 tunes of 2002).

The lyrics on Beautiful Things are beautiful! It is refreshing to hear your voice singing lyrics with relevance and a deeper meaning.

...that doesn't happen often with electronica tracks.

yes Mavie

amazing job on beautiful things, tho amazing doesn't seem like a good enough adjective to describe what i feel when i hear you sing that song

there should be a new adjective for the chills you get when listening to mavie
