I suppose I could be way off, but if you think about - if he was doing it for the fame and fortune of it...why EDM? If he wanted to roll in more dough, the natural choice would have been say, mainstream rock, metal, alternative etc etc. Considering electronica isn't nearly as popular in the states. So ya gotta figure, maybe he's got a genuine taste in our stuff. And as an artist himself, he'd be inclined to try his hand at making his own too. In either case, we shall see...

DJ's are artists and rappers are artists. We are all in for the same thing, the love of the music, so why bash him for what he may like? Obviously he knows whats what sounds good and is appealing to others, look at all the friggin' money he has made. Give the guy a break, i would be pissed off if i took an interest in rap and rap enthusiasts started bashing me.

hmmmmmm, maybe he just noticed that electronica is picking up here in the states and thought he could make a lot of dough out of it...then again maybe he does really just like the music. only he knows for sure, but i still dont like him
