yea...I didn't slate u for it..I gave my opinion on the labels u came forward with, and then gave examples of a very successful label and one that failed but released probably the greatest number of quality tracks.

i didn't slate you about anything...i don't even know what slate means lol...all i was saying is that to every perons response on here, you had a know-it-all type answer. i was just interested to hear what your opinion was since all of ours seemed to get you pretty hype. of course everyone has different views, so take your own advice!! theres no need to argue to the death about something someone says thats different than you...oy

Errm I'm bored...so I'm browsing the forums...replying to threads that interest me. If I was 'agueing' I'd be putting sarcastic smileys like and !!! and in my answers.

I'm sorry if I came across with a 'know it all' attitude...didn't mean to just having a discussion.

Although I bet if this thread had come along 2 months ago...people would've been saying Bonzai was successsfull

People need to understand what success actually means. In reguards to Lost Language...I was told by an inside source that they were struggling a few months prior to releasing 7 Cities 2002.

With vandit, I'm not fully convinced and thats all I was saying

my view of a successful label is based on consistency of quality club tracks.

a view of a successful label should not be based on rumours and speculation of their financial state...

it should be based on the quality of the tracks, that each release maintains this quality and that the djs consistently play them out. that is all the criteria needed imo. despite what happened, lightning/bonzai were a very successful label on this merit.

anything business wise (like sales) is pure (rumour fuelled) speculation unless you are the label's accountant.

Its all about finding a happy medium...Bonzai were my fav label..successful in clubs, not so successful in sales

Bonzai had fantastic sales believe me. a lot better than the majority of labels out there. direct sales on Bonzai had very little to do with the end of lightning im afraid... so as a label Bonzai were successful throughout
