if u suported the artist, u wudn't go downloading their stuff, and u'd go n buy the record when it gets released!
But its tru that alot of people dont do this and say that they suport the artist.
in general, i would download first to see if i like, if i dont like i wont play it anyways, so its no problem

Personally i think if people really like ur tunes they will buy them even if they have the mp3 because personally for me mp3 is a good way to get an early look at what i'll be buying in the coming weeks or months so anyone who is going to buy the vinyl coz they like the tune is likely to anyway.
ffs
This isnt a discussion about mp3 sharing. Its a discussion on how tunes get leaked out before a release without the artist wanting it.
I aint bothered about mp3's when its been released.. theres no stopping it.

Yup!
That's something that really bothers me.
When I listen to ASOT or similar shows now days I've often heard all the tunes being playing, because they are all avalible for download.
Most of those tunes doesn't even have a release date set and if they do it's not for many months ahead.
That is not good at all!
Wouldn't it be nice if u go to see a dj and he plays all fresh tunes that u've never heard before, that rearly happends today just because ripping groups can't wait until the actual record has been released before making the tunes avalible to the public.
I just don't like tha fact that promos and un-finished tunes are released as mp3s.
It doesn't benefit anyone it just hurt the scene IMO.
