I don't know the first thing about mixing really, but I was under the impression that Chicane was actually preforming their songs live. I doubt they're just spinning vinyl of their very own songs. So I think people are praising the transitions from one song to another, which are actually really nice towards the end. This is a great, great set.

cheers

Agreed that there a couple of breaks where he pauses for effect, but the fact that you don't even notice the mixing for the rest of the set is really a credit to Chicane. To put in a word, i would have to say the mixing is PERFECT in this set.

This is one of the most well-structured sets i have ever heard.

I LOVE CHICANE!!!!!!

Simply stunning ! I only recently downloaded this set after discovering this great site. I've seen Chicane twice perform live at Glastonbury 2000 and Manchester in 2003 and this just brings it all back. Nick Bracegirdle is a genius, Offshore live is fantastic.

Its a pity Nick has turned his back on his old stuff and went really pop, never mind, I'm just glad he give us FFMG and BTS.

Ha, I downloaded this last year and sorta forgot about it (!?!) Thank God for my Ipod to remind me. Going through a transistional period in my life, but after an hour of Chicane, I feel on top of the world again. So uplifting and spiritual. Makes me remember exactly why I love trance. Nothing better than this on an hour long head-clearing walk.....
