I'm real disappointed...
Tiesto should've been 2 or 3, not 1... his sets are no where near as magikal (sic) as they were in 2002. In 2002 he most definitely deserved #1, what with ISOS3, Dutch Dimension 02-02-2002, and the Area 2 tour... but Tiesto in Concert was only in the Netherlands, Nyana disappointed (disk 1 especially), and his livesets haven't been as flowing and the tracks haven't been as fresh (come on... Dogzilla, Frank Biazzi remix of Obsession, Airport... shit) as prior years.
Armin is amazing at hyping the crowd, but his sets are pretty much straight up epic trance.. which I mean I love epic trance as the next guy but I want a bit more buildup. Plus, he hasn't quite mastered the art of "beatmatching" (and that's putting it nicely).
Sasha I think should've got #1... His Glastonbury set was *STUNNING*, in fact many of his sets have been awesome... now if he'd just make a new mix album =]
Jules at #9 is way too high... He's not that great a mixer and his sets aren't very interesting. Well, I thought Oakey would get 6, but I'm happy that Corsten knocked him out of 6th.
I'm surprised Zabiela scored so high.. .and Howells, Kleinenberg and Lawler all placed a bit lower than I expected. Lawler and Kleinenberg kick ass live, I MIGHT see Howells this weekend but I haven't seen him yet.
Dave Seaman at #40 is just an insult... This guy's a really good, very underrated DJ... Take a listen to his Cape Town GU or his Renaissance America CD... They're a bit older, but at least he knows how to mix.
I'm really surprised PVD wasn't #1... I thought he was gonna take the gold this year.

Hehe.. I knew Tiesto would be #1 this year. Not that he really deserved it, but I think theres plenty enough reasons for it. As for the rest of my fav. DJ's. Im glad to see them move up.. they are taking over, and Im happy about those signs.. especially seen PvD move up, Armin move, and Ferry move up.. Im not mad. Just mad for not seen some of my other faves on the TOP 100 at least. But hey, its Tiesto, and he's part of history, marking another part of music in history.. which is what?.. trance and all around it. This at least shows that for us, trance addicts, wether PVD or Armin, we can sit here conftable knowing that trance is still above all hehehehe.. nice year for it I have to say.

i can't say i get PVD as well although i knew it would happen, too many ppl are pvd bitches. He just doesn't have much fire i find these days, i was hoping ferry and marco V would be high, but was pretty close to what i expected. Dunno what Jeff mills and Richie Hawtin are doing up there, they haven't done much latelly, at least i haven't seen or heard much in the past year. :P
