I don't wanna get a player who will score 70 points a week when I can get a player who will get 100 points a week. Once I have a settled team that i am happy with I will worry abot trading for profits, at the moment all I care about it getting maximum points asap.

If there is a player who can do the equivalent less yes I'll get them instead. But If I have 300k to spend, the 300k players are getting 100 points a week and the 250k players are getting 70 points a week I'll get the 300k players. I need points, not money.

Define maximum points! Its all relative mangz. Jobe watson getting you 70 points a game at his CURRENT PRICE is the equivelant if not BETTER than HODGE getting you 100 points a game.

The salary cap does not allow you to have every single player averaging 90+ a week.

I have a moderatley high cost and high points player out. I want a player who will score me maximum points to substitute. So if theres a player who is a bit (ie not double the cost like your Hodge example) more expensive but will score me more points than Watson, I'll get him ahead of Watson.

Edit - there is a limit of what is reasonable though. I wouldn't pay 50k more for 2 extra points per round or something like that.

Thanks for the tip off about Watson though, theres some more changes (beyond these injuries) I was going to do at some stage to my forward line so will pick him up at some stage.
