Set of the night: Lee Burridge. WOW.

Didn't see Danny Howells but wish I had mostly b/c Armin's set was meh...except I think I would've liked the latter half. Left when he was dropping "Linking People" (which is on PoD 2), only decent tune up to that point imo...from what I remember the rest was ok but nothing mindblowing...no energy really. I just felt lacking. Shout outs to the TAs I usually end up talking to. Ivan been a while and I hope your adventures in the EU end up being amazing man. Nice meeting Kris and everyone else.

finally someone came with a compliment for poor burridge.

everyone has hated his set so far and called it "slow".

Listenin to his NuBreed5 album and it's really mindblowing.

that would be Jay (musicsnob_not)...I'm so brutal at spotting anyone in the crowd that I'd miss saying hi to half the people I do if it weren't for him, lol.

bad night for me to be brutally honest but these nights can be a crapshoot so I'm not going to complain too much. I liked what I saw from Lee Burridge and Sander and it was cool to finally see Oakie at least once before he retires. But, you know, when you combine elements such as your friends acting sucky and in "moods", the shittiest fucking E pill I've ever had (whatever it was, it's not what i'm used to...I'll be discontinuing that source!), plus the retarded packedness, insane heat, 20 minute waits just to piss, a horrible throat infection that just HAD to strike the day before this event...it ends up being shitty. So about 4:30 I took off to the car and rode out the crazy, overwhelming waves of...whatever it was that fucked me up, which, by the way, lasted way too long.

Anyway, it looked like a promising night and I'm sorry I didn't get the full effect as I haven't partied like that in awhile...and it will probably be awhile until I get back again. Hope everyone had fun.

i had a great time last night, the guv wasn't rammed except during Sander's set, the usual pushing and shoving, and there was this short skinny dude i wanted to cram into the ground he was so irratating.
i checked out Lee Burridge and he was awesome, his buildups were great, loved it. then Sander Kleinenberg came on and he was great wasn't too enthused, i expected more for some reason, his set was average compared to Burridge.
went to see Hyper afterwards and he played some great driving tracks he was on fire.
went to the Gallery after to see Sydney Blu throwing some sick beats, the place was going nuts, haven't been to that place for a while great to see that place still delivers.
around 5:30 Peter came up to tell me that Burridge and Howells are playing back 2 back in the main room, it seemed like the party just started and everytime Burridge comes on he throws an amazing track, even though it cooled off at the end, seeing them together was the highlight of the party.
i walked through the kool haus a few times to check how its going, the place was packed, i was suprised by the number of hot ladies compared to the guv, i also kept on bumping into Ta's every five minuts great to see everybody out.

I didn't end up arriving until about 12:30am. Walked into Guv, found Lindsay and Justin, Chris, Jay and Tyler right away and found my spot front and centre just in time for Sander

Sander played an absolutely amazing set. It was exactly what I was hoping for. The vibe was amazing in Guv until about the last 30 min of his set when I came back in from having a smoke and the vibe was completely gone. I found Guv to be packed but not as much as the usual, but I was not pushed, bumped or moved around all that much so I was completely satisfied with that. Sander was definitely the set of the night for me!

Danny Howells came on after that. Attempted his set for a good hour and there was still no vibe going on. I even attempted to go out for a smoke on the patio and relax then come in and do it again and still no vibe. So it now stands official NO MORE HOWELLS IN CANADA for me anymore.

Proceeded over to KH for Armin; omg it was disgustingly packed and hot that the second I walked in there the ceiling was dripping on me. I couldn't even make my way around. Finally ran into Vrk in the passing through the crowd who I never saw again that night and the ran into Mike (e*motion) and decided to go sit and have a smoke in the tent and I never saw him again either
Sat in KH for a period of time. Did not dig Armin's set AT ALL. And here I was hoping that if Danny wasn't any good I could count on Armin.

My night was an overall meh. I was more excited to run into the people that I haven't seen in a long while then I was to actually be at the party in general. At the same time, glad that I didn't miss Sander either and that my experience in Guv for the night was better than planned

I was in Guv all of Sander's set, then there for Howells, on the patio, back in Guv for more Howells, then KH, then Gallery, the back to KH.. then that is when I saw you and you mentioned Howells and Burridge then we were trying to follow you and you were gone. Didn't stay for long I wasn't diggin it and neither was Justin so we left.

But yes, Sander was the only set I enjoyed the entire night.
(and I didn't get to see Burridge cuz I didn't arrive until 12:30)
