My mothers brother committed suicide. She was in her junior year of college, he was in grad school.
She continued in classes for a while, but after going to Egypt for 2 months she came back and had a mental break down. She attributed it culture shock, but really she said later it was not dealing with her brothers death.
My grandfather slipped into a deep depression that he never got out of. He lived for another 35 years wondering if he could have done anything to save his son or treated him better or whatever goes through a parents head.
My grandmother... who knows what happned to her, she is so selfish anyways... who knows.
My other aunts as well, totally devastated. |
Maybe your uncle should have wrote a better note...your family might have understood better. The problem is that you're taking the one experience that your family had and broadly saying that's how it is for everyone. People aren't the same, families aren't the same, life isn't the same for everyone. One day, if you're lucky, you might understand this basic concept.
Anyhow, I'm out...it's late on the east coast for a work night.
