I don't think there is, but if there is one I'd imagine its a short, tiny, not inaccurate list prone to exaggerated boasting about how important and fulfilling it actually is.

Cable only sucks for sports fanatics that like sports like footy. I hate satellite otherwise. It is quite a shit alternative price wise once you get out of the "value" package.

still trying to decide whether i'm gonna go with Time Warner Roadrunner for cable internet, or AT&T for DSL. thoughts?

The cap on DSL is kinda shitty, but I don't know if you'd actually notice it. I had DSL right when broadband started up and it was great vs cable because back then the cable line everyone shared was relatively small. I have Time Warner now and it's fantastic, totally trumps DSL.
