looks legit, i wonder if someone isnt going to show up. (ps...i got fucked with the first pvd no show, he came back when i wasnt in the state anymore)
oakie, bleh...usually too mashed by that point anyways. looking forward to deep dish and jxl, not to mention the local names| |
yeah. I forgot to mention that Motorcycle was doing a PA as well. Heard Jes sounds like shit live though.
On the Tiesto note - I will probably never pay to see Tiesto again, unless there are others on the line-up I want to see. I definitely won't see him in Denver, as he draws way too many people. Oakie, Tijs, and PVD suck to see in Denver. Well they all kind of suck anyway.

I agree, when the crowd is wall to wall, shoulder to shoulder, it kinda crushes the flow.
That said, I generally won't bother to see someone big when there are others on the lineup, especially if it's a festival setting a la the GD show at Red Rocks. Sound quality usually suffers, crowd is too varied, and the sets are always too short.
I'd change my feeling in a heartbeat if they were allowed to do all-night events at Red Rocks.

I disagree. The sound has been fine at Red Rocks the last couple of years, IMO. It's never too packed in there, so you can move around, which I like. I will admit that the sets could be longer, but it's cool to see a wide range/variety of djs, even if you sometimes wished they were playing longer. Plus, I get so plurred out at GDF, that it doesn't matter.
Two days until TwoSum. Should be a blast!
