Liverpool are going sign Jermain pennant from birmingham for 6.2 million.


Think we got sick and tired of waiting around for Alves so this is his replacement. Good signing i think. Very pleased.

This now frees up so money. so i expect us to sign Kuyt now. After seeing him in the world cup i really dont want him at liverpool. He looked like a donkey, we already have one in crouch. He was a dirty diver, again we have one of those in gerrard.

So i really fail to see what attributes he will bring to the club that we dont already have here.

I think giving Jermaine a new chance at a big club, is the only right thing. He's got the potential to be something big, but yet he hasn't proved himself.

Daniel Alves is such a good player, offensively and defensively. He runs like no one else and has capability to cover up for the bigger players. People can think that he's a dirty player, but I certainly like how he's playing. Besides, He scores pretty much for being a defender, he can shot from long range and you can trust him in the air even though he's pretty short (Not the best though). He's everywhere on the pitch.

Kuyt hasn't proved anything yet (Besides in Holland), but I'm sure he'll prove a lot more in the future.

I'm not big on Kuyt either, we've been linked with him for ages. The club have been sending scouts to watch him for a while and our interest seemed to cool after that, espescially his poor world cup showing. Maybe with Bellamy doing all his running it could work, I rate Bellamy very, very highly and I'm still gutted Souness kicked him out of Newcastle. For 6M you have an absolute bargain.

I'd much rather go for Huntelaar from Ajax than Dirk Kuyt but he'd cost more. We're being linked with Klose at the moment, Roeder has admitted he wants to buy him but he might want Champions League football. We've also been linked with some players from the Italian league such as Martins and Ibrahimovic but again I can see them moving to bigger clubs.

Juventus president states that Ibrahimovic, Camoranesi, Buffon, and Trezegol will be left at Juventus.

AC Milan is interested in Buffon, while Inter has been linked with Ibrahimovic all summer long. Camoranesi is on his way to Lyon according to the Gazzetta and Trezeguet is wanted by the French Champions.

Mista signed from Ian's Valencia to Atlético. Rojiblancos pays about 4 million € for the attacker who'll join the team on Saturday.

They're hiring more players than Chelsea, Tottenham and Real Madrid alltogether - that's certainly not a very good thing.
