Hehe, Got in at about 23:00 with John Askew... Ok, not really my thing but actually liked it It was hot and the place was loaded. So... midnight Armin time... Even more crowded... After thirty minutes I'd had it, so I went up to the foyer where my main man Peter Van Leeuwen had taken over the radio broadcast while Armin was spinning. That's when I saw ppl coming from the stairs and realized area 2 was open, so I went up the stairs further to find Jonas Steur at the decks Area 2 was nicely filled with people but most of all it was nice and cooooolll

So after about an hour I went back down to see how Armin was doing... Still too crowded and as if it wasn't hot enough already they put on some fire act... So back up I went, where Menno de Jong had joined Jonas at the decks. I'm not that crazy about Rank 1 DJ sets, so I decided to stick around in Area 2 which turned out to be a pretty good idea They blew off the roof! Atmosphere was amazing and they played some excellent new material. So I stayed up there till Menno, and later on Jonas went downstairs for Menno's set in Area 1.

Excellent timing, when I got down there Menno was just starting. Looked like a bunch of people left right after Armin's set, coz now I actually had some space to move. Menno had me at the second track! His remix of So Serene with vocals of Carrie Skipper's Time Goes By I've been jumping around non stop from that point I didn't even get drinks Instead of only one hour he played for nearly 2, ending the night with Southern Sun (Tiesto Remix) and Billie Ray Martin - Honey (Chicane Club Mix)

The extra time nicely made up for the time I lost yesterday. Right in the middle of what was supposed to be a 3hr John Digweed set the music went out for half an hour(!) due to a problem witht he fire alarm

I'm happy now tho

and you have got to be kidding about Digweed last night.. that sucks of course it couldn't have happend during Jimmy van M's set eh?
I bet there were some not so happy campers when that happend. (ie:emre )

lol, I wish, the rest of the night sucked (imho)... Have to say tho... The interruption was great for the partyspirit... Crowd went mad when Diggers finally played again

For some reason btw, I'm sure I've seen Emre, but I just don't that he is Emre ... I did chat with phortje for a while, mostly during the break

yeah you would know emre if you saw him for sure and I figured Jasper would be there too. I think all of the prog fans must have been there in full force last night

lol.. yes I mean phortje Jasper and not the other one
I will have to get Phortje to introduce us on the Friday (I think from what I have read on Groove Collection that they are all going for just that day)

as for the tent, I think I got it all figured out. I got an email to confirm through Heineken that it is purchased, but I still have no idea how they are going to verify that I purchased it once I get there and it also says that my address is incomplete and when I tried to email them to confirm my correct address with them (just incase), my emails all bounced back to me so Heineken does not have an email that works. Then I emailed UDC and well I have sent them 2 emails now in regards to this and nothing. So I guess we'll see.. hahaha

I'm sure they'd like to go see Tenaglia on friday, coz they're all going to Extrema on saturday. But they don't sell friday only tix... Even guestlisted ppl are not allowed to leave the terrain on friday... But otherwise I'm sure Natty and Mags could hook us up

As for the tent, lol good luck hehe... keep bugging em

The day started off so great, then I had to go to work. I just got home and read all of your thoughts as the day went along and relived it with you.

I'm so happy this show went well...
...and I am sitting on the edge of my seat to hear from Andrea. Something tells me there may be some personal Armin moments coming soon!

this thread was such an entertaining read. i miss you guys. night was great. met tons of ppl. didn't go to afterparty. girls had to leave and i took em. great pics and some videos you'll like. armin and piet say hi and that they love TO.
