I think almost any Jew lost some relative in the Shoah. We all have the right to condem, to hate THAT germany. But THAT germany is not today's germany! Stupid comparison..but u wont hate Italians because of what the Romans did to us, right? Of course the killing of 6 millions of us is untoppable (thank god) and is realtively near to our time. But things have just changed. You gotta realize that an 18 year old German or Austrian has simply nothing to do with it! Yes he must not forget and has to be responsible, but u cant hate HIM. I keep repeating that in my 10 years of living in Austria I just havent faced any antisemitism. I only had positive experiences. Ppl who showed interest in Jewish culture, in Israel, our language etc. etc. So please learn to distinguish. Dont forget, dont forgive but adjust yourself to a new reality, be tolerant and open your mind.
