Took your douchebag pill again today, I see. You completely blew up over an opinion that I didn't even write. I said I lost weight QUICKLY because of being vegan and exercising. I didn't say you can't lose weight without both of those. I said that you can't rely on just one. |
You actually just said "the results you need", but even if we're talking about losing weight QUICKLY you're still obviously wrong, as demonstrated here:

I'd say that's compelling evidence that you have issues with self control: you had to completely eradicate them from your diet to avoid eating them. Like an alcoholic who has to make a big show of going cold turkey because they can't cut their drinking to a reasonable level, if you've reached that point you already have a problem. Besides, if that wasn't convincing, statements like these:

Yes, but she would have a much easier time controlling herself if she wasn't completely surrounded by fast food joints that provide ample amounts of deliciously salty and cheesy meat for her fat ass to devour. |

You're naive if you think that meat and cheese isn't the sole reason why people's cholesterol is high, and why most of them are pretty fat. |
...clearly demonstrate someone who is blaming (inanimate) external parties for a problem rather than taking responsibility. Your conduct and line of thinking is exactly the same as countless people I've met who have problems with their eating habits and their weight: you've repeated verbatim statements these people have levelled at me for being a healthy weight. Projecting? Yeah fucking right.

Congratulations, you just illustrated that some people lose weight in different ways. I highly doubt I would have lost as much if I kept eating meat and cheese. Sure, moderation is key, but complete removal and replacement with healthier alternatives accompanied with exercise gave my body a complete makeover, not in weight alone. It's like you're completely ignoring cholesterol.

Apples and fucking Oranges, Jack. How on earth could you possibly compare the decision to stop eating meat or cheese for a few weeks to an alcoholic trying to quit drinking? That's completely ridiculous. For your information, I've had cheese 3 times in the last 2 weeks. I'm not Lews, dude, nowhere have I ever judged you for eating meat. Don't give me your shit show.

You can't be serious. Where did I say that was the sole reason for people being fat? I never blamed fast-food restaurants, I was literally placing all the blame on her self control. People get fast food because it's easy and it's cheap, and it's usually good enough to get by on. It takes self control to maintain a healthy weight, and to not go get fast food, as I've illustrated in plenty of my posts. I have no idea what your problem is with my decision to eat more plant-based meals.

I know. Time to get some meat on them bones you Somalian shit!

You really are a fucking idiot sometimes. You can't rely on one of them because you clearly have self-control problems you're blaming on meat. Currently I drink 4 litres of milk a week, eat 12 eggs a week and consume meat in at least two meals every day - an exceptionally un-vegan diet - and I'm getting excellent results in losing fat and preserving lean muscle mass.
The problem with cheesy, salty, greasy meat-based junk food is not the meat. It's the grease, the fat, the empty calories and the addictive additives. If you can't control your urge to scoff that shit without renouncing meat altogether, then the problem has nothing to do with the food or your metabolism, and everything to do with your mind. |
I thought I was the only one that still drank milk! Everyone makes fun of me for it
IGK, you probably never have to cook meat on a grill for longer than 10 mins, although I'm not sure how hot a hibatchi gets. The bigger gas grills get up to about 800 degrees, at that temp about 8 mins per side covered (for chicken) would work. For steaks it depends on how you want them cooked, 2-3 mins per side for medium then add a minute for medium well and another for scorched earth.
