that's the thing, just about all of uplifting is cheesy shit these days. and i don't mean that i don't like melodic trance with stupidly-long breakdowns or drum rolls etc; i love it, and accept it's cheesy by other genres' standards and i have no issues with that. i mean that the stuff made now is cheesy shit even by cheesy standards.
this is not a reflection on your track btw, for what it's worth i thought it was better than average. that bar is set so very low now these days though.
the best melodies are happening in other genres; somewhere along the way trance forgot that good melodies are sad and that's what made them emotional ("uplifting" was always a misnomer imo). uplifting tracks today make no melodic sense to me.
that said, i can still find 3 or 4 tracks every 6 months or so that still hit the right spots.

You are alot worse than me, you have no variation, sound design, structure or arrangement that separates you from the rest. Its just another track to fill the void of if your lucky Beatport top 100 trance.

lol @ comparing them to you.
At least the lack of all of that brought them a release at MSP by Mike Push and support by Markus Schulz and Ferry Corsten resulting in a top 3 at Ferry's Countdown.

The Hoyaa remix of my friends 3th album single is doing pretty well.
I added the original just because of the awful video

I dont care if he got Beatport number 1 or if he became the next new school tiesto over night, you can def see that today's scene is saturated with cheese or mundane music.
and if you want to compare go ahead I doubt he can make a better cinematic trancer like this.

For me it doesn't really matter if you like my stuff or not, I'm just doing what I like and try to make the music I love myself together with my friend If people like it than that's just fine and what we hope to achieve, if you don't like it than go out and enjoy what you do like or better yet make and produce something unique yourself in the style you prefer

Already did 8 years ago:
That track sounds like it sticking a hard needle in my ears, very fatiguing. Your chords and leads are not inspiring at all they feel like you put not effort into e melody for example as if you picked your first try as your melody outcome as soon as you started that track in your daw.
