Yeah it's Deadpool. I've been watching all 5 seasons of XMEN the animated series the last few days and I found a site with character bios. I used to have the trading cards for XMEN and I remember that one of the most badass characters was Deadpool.

Ryan Reynolds is on talks to play Deadpool in the movie

Now I'm a tad obsessed with the character, working on a wallpaper of him as we speak. Here's another pic:
