They're building the team now.

We've got Fernando Torres, Mateja Kežman, Agüero, Braulio and Toché as our natural strikers. This doesn't include Martin Petrov and Maxi Rodriguez because they're supposed to play on their respective wings.

Braulio and Toché won't play a lot this season, because they're not A-material yet. This is why Aguirre probably wants to make our squad even stronger on attack. This means that we've got 2 pairs to work with, exactly like Aguirre was working in Osasuna.

Mista was good a couple of seasons ago when Valencia won La Liga. He scored about 20 goals and was the teams best goalscorer. He's no way near that shape today, but I'm trusting Aguirre on this even though it came all of sudden, I wouldn't have bought him though..

The last player Javier Aguirre is looking for now is a creative midfielder, Jimenez from Ternana or Maniche from Dynamo Moscow are the two hottest alternatives right now.

Celtic are on the verge of signing Ivaylo Petkov from turkish side Ankaragucu, this would solve our left back problems.

We lost the race on Hesselink earlier this week, they were asking for 8 million euros! Totally not worth it IMO, glad the deal wasn't finished.

Yeah, definatly not worth that sort of money, but I think if we can agree personal terms we may get him for £5 million.

Although with celtic in the transfer market nothings a sure thing till contracts are signed.

5 million pounds = 7.3 million euros, that's pretty much what we were asked still way too much for him IMO

Amoroso was, but not anymore..
