This was my first time watching in a bar, and the atmosphere was great. Yes, the game was extremely physical, and although Manchester United dominated the first half, I was fearing the entire time that they'd fall into the exact same trap that Barcelona fell into in the semi-finals (have loads of possession, and do nothing with it). In the second half, Chelsea's largely anonymous midfield came to life, and began creating opportunities, and although they hit the post and the crossbar, they didn't test the keeper much (maybe because the defence dealt with most of it). Drogba's red card: I don't know if it merited a sending off, but it was on the cards (unintended pun) as soon as he lifted up his hands to Tevez' (I think) face. Penalties, typically English really. I called out the stigma when Ashley Cole went up, and even though he scored, it was bound to get someone, and surely enough, Terry would miss the target. In the end, the Cup is in the hands of its rightful owners (purely for United's style of play this season, and because I don't like Grant), and another great season in the books.
Now BRING ON EURO!
