Me? I have a premium account at Megaupload but I don't think I mentioned it...

I have premium accounts at Megaupload, Rapidshare, and Mediafire. If that can benefit anyone in anyway, let me know.

You mentioned it a while ago (I think in talking about hosting a mix for Sand Leaper possibly?) and for some reason I remembered it.

I've been thinking about getting a premium megaupload account, myself. At least for a few months, to try it out.

I think I take advantage of my Rapidshare premium account more than the other two. I don't download / upload as much as I once did, I suppose. Of the three, I seem to use mediafire the most. Like if I want to upload something to share with my sisters, I automatically go to mediafire. I probably don't use the megaupload enough to justify the premium account.

I'm really not a fan of Rapidshare's new pricing system.

Mediafire is pretty awesome and quick.

I just prefer Megaupload for uploading big and zipped things so I'll probably end up getting an account one of these days. At least for a month, to try it out.

A very... unconventional entry for August, from a TA who has almost as many alts as he has posts. Never one for playing by the rules, the bastard gave me neither a tracklist nor a proper link, and promptly went on holiday before I could get such things from him. Hopefully when you listen all should become clear.

I know you won't be reading this for days, Jay, but what a fucking bomb to close on. This mix is definitely a weird one, but I wanted people to play things completely outside what they normally share on TA, and you showed off a broad spectrum of your tastes.

Also, play from 67 minutes in this mix, and tell me where you've heard that tune before... 3.45 here.

Oh, and here:

...Never made that connection before.

This was my favorite mix so far, actually. Really showcases range of sound and depth of influences, here. And lots of great old blues gems!

been ignoring some of these as of late but anyhow.
enydo. liked your mix, i think the first half with the rock tunes was nice until it started dragging on a bit, i think it wouldn't have bothered if i wasn't listening to it from a computer. don't get me wrong, i still enjoyed it. good progression from the progressive rock bits into the whole b.o.c./dj shadow/bt bit and i liked how you used the album version song of life since it has that dub beginning. the mix from lush 3-1 into heller & farley was clean and barely noticable. good job.

david michael. i enjoyed it but it was patchy. it started out nice but those two fear factory and project 86 tracks just became a whole load of depressing. it didn't really resolute into anything particular, i just thought it plodded until "here comes again" came on.

following my comment on enydo's mix, i'm not hating on downtempo sections of these kind of mixes. it's just a fine art of pulling some of them off and i'm guilty of this aswell (just check "more phases" for instance) and one needs some bite otherwise it's either coffee-table or blandness.

but anyhow, it did pick up and i really liked some of the creative transitions, like eurythmics into kraftwerk which was an effective cut. the only one which sort of didn't work was janet jackson into garbage but it was good tracks all along and funk bits was chunky. well done.
