You guys are arguing not only against me but hundreds, thousands probably, of different studies that show that suicide has a negative impact on families and social structures.
To deny this is to deny the very fabric of western society.

If you are talking about forgiving dead people than thats BS. They are dead. Your forgiveness means nothing to anyone lol.
People dying cease to exist in any realm. They are not in heaven, they are not in hell, they arent ghosts or reincarnated or some other fantasy land bullshit. They simply cease to exist.

No one is saying it doesn't have a negative impact
Seriously, we're talking about the lesser of two evils here. It's painfully obvious that you're just arguing for the sake of arguing now, CD. Shut the fuck up.

All that does it validate that Western societies are stuck attaching religious morality to actions that really should have nothing to do with such judgement.
Any kind of tragic loss has a negative impact on families and social structures ffs.

You agree that it is selfish? I mean explain how suicide is a selfless act. If its not selfish than it is selfless and I have no idea how you can justify it as being selfless.

Excuse me, I've got a dead horse out back that I'm gonna go beat for a few minutes. Would anybody else like to join me?
