lol, oh boy here we go! well i might as well tell the whole friggin story lol
so we're at two:am still holding out hope that james would show up to spin some more...
so this girl comes over and sits on the ottoman thing that im resting my feet on and hits my leg w/ her hand. i think nothing of it at first, but she keeps it up, so finally i get up and sit down next to her and this is the conversation from there on out:
me: "hi"
her: "hi, thats my boyfriend right there (points to a guy dancing about 10 feet from us)"
me: "uhhh ok"
her: "he'd pimp me out to you if you wanted"
me: "whoa"
her: "what like thats a bad thing"
me: "i dont pay for that"
her: "are you a jewish lawyer?"
me: "wtf is it the nose?" lmao i make myself laugh
her: "my husband is a jewish lawyer"
me: "wait, wait, let me get this straight you have a husband AND a bf?"
her: "well he's not my husband really, you know how that is"
me: "no not really"
her: "you're really beautiful do you know that"
*i make a face at her*
*she tries to kiss me, i turn my head and she ends up kissing my cheek*
at this point some big ass dude who i hadn't seen before came over to her and gave her a drink.
i can only assume that was the 'husband' at that point i was like, im not in a good situation here, and so i got up and sat back down.
ahhhhhhhhhh denver how i love thee

What do you put into your live sets that has made you a dancefloor favorite for the past decade?
"I’m a dance floor favorite? Great! I would say the passion that I feel for the music I buy and the honesty with how I play it. I play the records I love not the ones that simply work. I’ve never taken the easy music option (which would make me a lot more money by the way) but chosen to push people a little. I try to draw people in a new direction slightly and expand their taste a little more than other DJ’s." - Lee Burridge
