My buddy's review. Note Markus Schultz. What has The Guv done to him!

Mark Olivers set was great, when we first got in it was pretty empty, comparing the size of the place to people, but our group of 4 just started dancing as soon a M.O. played a track that we all recognized and didn't stop until he was done playing. He shook both mine and Dittoalex's hand and signed out poster, we also met a friend a M.O. in the crowd, there should be a pic of him, really nice guy. He told us "Mark really appreciates this kind of stuff".

Marcus Schultz(sp) was good, but he just didn't hype me up, his set was pretty damn good, but I just don't feel it unless the DJ is pumping you/crowd up.

I didn't know what to expect from Gray Area, I was definetley different from the music they were playing earlier but in a good was also, it changed things up, and they really impressed me, they got the party hyped well. It was when the lead singer jumped out into the crowd right where I was standing, got to take some pics of him too.

Blank and Jones rocked the house, hard tracks all night pumping everyone up for Armin, great set also. Ditto and I needed a break from all the energy to save for later so we chilled in the Orange Room.

Armin...what can I say, fucking amazing!Everyone went crazy, chanting Armin and such. Great selection of tracks all night, he played well known shit like SOS, Till There Was You, Air For Life, Zocalla, Communication, Shivers, Silence ect. with everyone (mostly TA's) singing in perfect harmony. I was front and center for like the first 2 hours of his set, then chilled and relaxed, listend and soaked in the night by the chill out seats by the bar, then came back for more, and didn't leave untill he finished. While I was gone he signed Ditto's poster!! It was like 8:30am I think and he was still playing and they shut the power off on him and according to other people he screamed something like "Oh come on!" they promply turned it back on. Then the crowd went wild he played some more then came back for a second encore. Around 9:30 he was finally finished. He's a happy guy, amazing interaction with the crowd, he kept smiling and motioning to me, but I guess a lot of other people said the same thing. He looked like he was having a great time, dancing, motioning when the break is about to drop to the crowd and everything. When the show was finally over we were walking out when I look to my left in a secret door and I see armin, with about 10 people around him, I try to shake his hand but he didn't see me, then I yelled while he was walking away "Armin, we came from Cleveland to see you" he turned around looked and shook my hand

Amazing time overall, we were at possibly the best show in The Guv's/Kool Haus history, saw a little bit of the Canada side of the Falls, and went to a Serbian festival where I saw a bunch of my friends from Cleveland.

I found armin's set to be very powerful. He does have amazing interation with the crowd. I was moved by the performance [almost] spiritually. I believe he ended his set with The Silence before the encore..i couldnt help but let out a loud FUCK YEAH!

We also stopped by the canadian falls on the way home.. I was pretty cracked out from being up for several days, but after showering in the mist of the falls...I felt at peace.

This was a great experience. One I will probably remember for the rest of my life. And I'm espeacially glad I was able to share it with two great friends <3. Not to mention, a few thousand other enthusiastic party-goers

peace

Armin van Buuren - ZoCalo (Gabriel & Dresden Remix) -- Perfect opener, though I wish he saved it for the end of his set...
Nalin & Kane - Open Your Eyes (Markus Schulz Vs. Elevation Remix) -- OMG Classic Oakey Choon
Three Drives - Greece 2000 (Mark Norman Remix)
Kuffdam and Plant - Summer Dream (Paul van Dyk Remix)
Inertia - The Chamber
Mark Norman - T34

These songs will be stuck in my head for quite sometime

Air For Life - Mark Oliver ended with this

Communication - Always wanted to hear it live

Play it Louder - Owned me for the 3 ASOTs in a row it was on, I still believe Armin played it because I requested it on his site

Till There Was You - "Everybody Sing!" Played twice in one night, both times the TA crowd went nuts singing it.
