So yes, it was a disaster, and one Marcus isn't used to; he was on the side of the argument that chose impassioned albeit thoroughly pedestrian damnation of remotely systematic participants all the while shedding his characteristic empathy; and was summarily crushed for doing so.

Like I mentioned a couple of posts ago, it was definitely an idea that went horribly wrong. I have no trouble admitting I failed, and I'm now back to the sketching board thinking of novel ways of grabbing people's attention without ruffling anyone's feathers.

On a final note, if that thread crushed my "characteristic empathy", despite my attempts to be civil and understanding to most critics (whenever there was an argument I could address), then maybe I'm not as empathetic as people take me to be... Because I really did try.
