I was actually referring to the fact they were once pretty awesome, and now they're pretty shitty. Thoughts?

some good productions once in awhile, but i moved away from that sound at least 4 years ago. As DJ's never enjoyed them much...that DM remix is one of my all time fav's though.

Some of my fav's are that DM remix, Dubby Sticky Floors, Why R U Here, From Dusk Til Dawn, and their remix of Breathe.

Ok, I'll submit that my author thread was ill conceived, but the rest are gems

Do you have any real objections to them, or is it only because they have the same author?

No, you're just as bad as an alt making pointless threads. Just stick to your planting threads.

My plant thread was informative and helpful
My ugh thread is a standard and acceptable thread for bitching
My overlord thread is full of humor and win
My Wal-mart thread has spurned scholarly discussion of big business ethics
My diet coke plus thread talks about a potentially exciting product and the effects of vitamin deficiencies
My bad names threads, enough said there!
you're just jealous!

This is probably a bit of a ridiculous question that will perhaps (read: hopefully) illicit some pretty ridiculous responses (I'm open to being mocked), but I'm being faced with a challenge I've been putting off for a long time, and I'm not sure I'm smart enough to do it the way I want to.
Long story short, I've officially become employed by/joined up with a DJ/Artist Management group in Chicago that I've worked with a bit for the last year. Now they need an "official" bio and some press photo's, which I've traditionally kind of taken the proverbial piss with. What I need are any random suggestions you guys can give me so that:
A. I don't have just another self-righteous and typical DJ bio. Phrases I'm hoping to avoid are things like "From a young age" and "becoming immersed in." I want it to be fun, but still professional, and I don't think I'm smart enough to write anything like that.
2. I don't have typical faggy DJ promo pictures. I realize this is a bit of a stretch, since pretty much all DJ promo pictures are faggy DJ promo pictures, but if anyone has any advice with regard to how to avoid it - I'd appreciate it.

invest in a professionally done press kit and it will really make a difference.

i'll photochop you a sweet promo pictar if you want. there's some pretty great ones of you spinning... if you want, i can help you go through some of those this weekend and tell you which one i think is the sexiest, and if it needs any altering/cropping in Photoshop.
