the thread will stay up so long i think, as its getting updated almost very week. although the popularity was higher in the begin, im glad most people havent forgotten the topic, and still come back. contributions from people like waxhead, daanmc, grimreaper, the_chris, keithos27, diesel09, vandict, dragonsemerald etc .. (and all those others i might forget) keep this thread living and worthy being alive. their submissions and additions are very useful!

i've seeen quite some amazing auction ending prices lately by the way. how about Push - Universal Nation; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....em=160001524958

also, i've seen tekknova - last trip to paradize going for some 90+ euro's on ebay some time ago ... not bad. but then again, some other rare ones didnt even got bids. its a strange market lately ..

Some odd choices in that list there. For example Orbital's Brown Album is in stock at Chemical right now for £12.99, so it's not really very rare.

you're right. ill remove it. because of the number on wants, i added it in the past, because i thought it was rare. it also gained relatively high prices in the past on ebay, hence i added it.

next to that, there are a number of hardcore releases in the list. though its EDM, they're not 100% in harmony with the object of this topic. but because of their high number of wants, and rareness, and high prices top get them (if possible), they're in the list. but we've discussed this issue in the past before. on my behalfs, they may be in the list. but if someone has other thoughts about it, please let me know ... its just sometimes very difficult to decide whether or not something should be in. there are thin lines between genre's often ...

This is a great thread but why be so close minded about other genres?
Why can't it be breakbeat, techno, Jungle or house?
Why does it have to be 'Bt - Remember' cracker music?

because the thread off as a question from my side. as im interested for 70% into trance (when i started off this thread at least), my question only regarded trance-releated releases. some progressive (house) tunes are involved too. when the thread grew, all suggestions that came in where trance-related. though im open to other genre's, like house and techno (which are in the list currently too, how bout millsart's 'axis copper edition'?), we never examined those genre's, because from the start off, we never did it. things might get to confused when other (more) genre's will be involved. i must say im open to more genre's, as long as they're close to trance .. progressive, progressive house, house, techno, thats fine by me. jungle; no .. dont even know what it is. its not up to me to decide what allowed here, and whats not, but the thread originated from my question. and i set up the discgos list of RareRecords. i control that list ... so a short answer to your question; more genre's a welcome, but keep things close. and ask gently

Alright, i don't think i have that many nowadays actually "rare by numbers" trance vinyls to be honest.. my rarities as such are of other genres for the most part. But here goes a few i've got and would classify as pretty rare:

Viper - The Twister (Qattara Remix)
- Features only on the limited picture vinyl. No idea about the number of made copies tho.

New Order - Crystal (Blue Amazon Remix)/Faithless - God Is A DJ (Skynet UK Remix)
- Exclusive mixes of the tracks for DMC. The a-side is prog tho but the b-side goes into the trance category.

Chicane - Offshore '97 (promo 2x12")
- To my knowledge one of the two different double promo 12"s featuring the full 11min Salt Tank remix, as it was edited for the official releases and this being the harder to find edition of the two i believe.

Global Method - Vibe Tribe EP
- Includes the oh so lovely Orbital remix of Good Life. 966 copies pressed from what i remember which about equals the number of copies pressed of the 1st edition of Orbital - Chime/Deeper and it took me almost 10 years to find a mint copy of that one damnit!

I got quite a few tunes from the list but sadly many of them on alternate releases and not quite as rare.. but some also on equally rare releases, like AvB mix of L'Esperanza of which i have the Xtravaganza promo and not the whitelabel, same number of people have both on discogs but the whitey seems to be more sought after.

I'll look deeper into my stuff later on.. now i'm out.
