Yeah I found the death scene freaky too. I guess it was a little weird how they just allowed people to die. Also I was expecting them to catch the guy and stop the nerve gas like they had in the previous hour at the hospital. I wasn't expecting almost all of CTU to die

they were good friends. Chloe gave him a hard time pretty often, but she still cared about him because he was a good guy. i think she was crying because when Edgar went to go check on Carrie he said "cover for me"... and then when he got back he realized they were all in the situation room. she probably couldn't really do anything but i'm sure she felt terrible.

the silent clock at the end of that episode made it even more intensely emo.
