Gotta ask those of you Colorado / Denver TA's for some advice. I thought only DJ Dan was going on that weekend, but now seeing Sandra Collins and Vello Virkhaus are on the list, I might just be checking out Vinyl while I'm in the area.

where is PARC in denver? is that the paintball place?

lawler's set on tuesday was miles better than the last couple of times i've seen him. i have no idea why the guy is so hit or miss, but it's sets like tuesday night's that keep me going to see him again even tho there are times that he's down right mediocre.

vinyl could really make the rooftop a kickass place if they put a little money into it, but that would imply that they'd have to put money into the club in the first place, which doesn't happen.

What do you put into your live sets that has made you a dancefloor favorite for the past decade?

"I’m a dance floor favorite? Great! I would say the passion that I feel for the music I buy and the honesty with how I play it. I play the records I love not the ones that simply work. I’ve never taken the easy music option (which would make me a lot more money by the way) but chosen to push people a little. Yep, that is paintball place - where colored rain fell due to the high body temperatures in there during Skylab 2006. We thought someone was spraying the crowd with paint but oh no - it was paintballs stuck to the ceiling MELTING.

I predict Skylab will be there again - as well as the Halloween shindig.

The soundsystem there was not up to par and the sole lighting was the screen behind his head. But the set itself was the best set I'd heard him spin since I saw him at Space in Miami WMC 2006. Here's hoping he repeats it even dirtier in San Fran. I cannot think straight I'm so stoked to get on the plane tonight!

Ok so even tho Howells was a no show... I must say I still had a great time, as most people I saw can attest to. It was cool seeing Mindshifter , Farley and Jules out on some just rando night. Tell your friend happy birthday again and i hope you enjoyed your pancakes :P .
