Depends on your definition of success, but most people's version of success is easier attainable when you have free publicity/promotion through music discussion online.

I don't think it does, but a lot of people hate out of jealousy (not saying that's the case for everyone here). I like Deadmau5, but I believe that those who are here saying they don't like it, wouldn't like it regardless of who put that mix together.

Because a lot do. In my previous post I stated that I don't believe that was the case here, but I see it in a lot of other places (not even relating to music, but success in general) such as the workplace.

why would people be jealous of deadmau5? Honestly I feel sorry for him.

He is doing nothing with his career except solidfy himself as the next short-lived cash grab sell out. He probably knows that's about all he can hope for because if he thought he had a legitimate shot at a long career he wouldn't be flooding the scene. Everything he does screams it from this embarassing essential mix to his gimmicky costume.

Does anybody care if deadmau5 wants to be the Sash! of the moment? Not really.
