i dont hate it, there's just very limited dishes i like it in and it's pretty much the dishes where bacon takes center stage.

i dont like it as a topping or an accent flavor at all. too over powering.

i like it plain as breakfast food..extra crispy with eggs and pancakes, etc.. and then on BLT's and turkey club sandwiches and that's pretty much it.

Ground turkey, brown rice, diced onions, celery, and peppers; minced garlic, paprika, oregano, and a bit of salt + pepper. edit: and an egg.

The sauce is just a can of crushed tomatoes diluted with some water and about a tablespoon or so of sugar. Really simple.


I don't usually make them with turkey mince. Usually half and half with pork and beef.
