fuck United...if Everton had a half decent first third of a season, they'd be challenging for a top 2 or 3 finish right now easily. I bet Rooney wishes (at least sometimes) he had never left.

no, I'm not kidding. If you actually paid attention to the WHOLE league (yes, that's right, ALL TWENTY TEAMS, not just the top 3 "cool" teams which sell the most jerseys), you'd see that Everton have been the hottest team outside of Chelsea since Christmas.

The sure play much better than the first half of the season and yes they should be higher but not near the top 3 teams. Also, they haven't played any difficult match since Christmas (except the Liverpool and the Arsenal one).
+ The most matches that they have played at the second half of the season are at their home.
Here are their results since Christmas
-Everton 1 - 3 Liverpool
Sunderland 0 - 1 Everton
Everton 3 - 1 Charlton
Portsmouth 0 - 1 Everton
-Everton 1 - 0 Arsenal
Wigan 1 - 1 Everton
Everton 1 - 0 Man City
-Everton 1 - 0 Blackburn
Newcastle 2 - 0 Everton
West Ham 2 - 2 Everton
Everton 3 - 1 Fulham
Everton 4 - 1 Aston Villa

now why would you say something like that ... united can afford to pay rooney more than double of what everton can and he has already won a trophy at united while all everton could offer is a winning streak after christmas that should see them finish in the top half of the table and with a little bit of luck - the uefa cup...
rooney's a superstar and superstars dont belong at goodison park
