Srpska zemlja kroz oblake leti.
Leti preko nebeskih visina,
Krila su joj Morava i Drina
Na tri sveto i na tri sastavno,
Odlazimo na Kosovo ravno.
Odlazimo na sudjeno mesto
Mila majko, sestro i nevesto.
Zbogom leto, jeseni i zimo.
Odlazimo da ih pobedimo.
Zbogom prvi nerodjeni sine,
Zbogom ruzo, zbogom ruzmarine.
Kad je draga da odlazim cula,
Za rever mi neven zadenula.
Hriste Boze raspeti i sveti,
Sva Srbija na Kosovo leti.
Hriste dragi raspeti i sveti,
Sva Srbija na Kosovo leti.
zoki, could you please translate this???
thats the song that my people we're singing 620 years ago. 620 years ago when they went to die in kosovo and to this day this song didnt change and never will. you're ignorant |
Thank you Srbija for getting the basics across.
I think a huge part of the conflict in this thread is that a lot of people here don't understand the whole "fatherland" concept. I've lived in Canada for 17 years and I have never met a true "Canadian" patriot (not saying they don't exist so plz don't jump all over my ass about this)
ojczyzna... otadzbina... otechestvo... rodina... these kinds of words don't even translate literally into english because these concepts don't exist.
Defending your nation at all costs... crying at its ruin... watching it collapse and feeling like a part of you is dying. That shit doesn't exist here.
